Miuccia Bianchi Prada (Italian: [ˈmjuttʃa ˈpraːda, miˈu-]; born Maria Bianchi [maˈriːa ˈbjaŋki] on 10 May 1949) is an Italian billionaire fashion designer and businesswoman. She is the head designer of Prada and the founder of its subsidiary Miu Miu.

Charming and unruly, the brand combines a naïf and sophisticatedly raw elegance with a maverick and carefree soul. The immediate and ever-evolving expressive language of Miu Miu narrates an individual and conscious femininity that allows room for boundless creativity.

Miu Miu was established in 1992 by Miuccia Prada. The name was conceived from Miuccia Prada's family nickname. It was publicly launched in 1993, with a cowgirl-themed collection of fringed suede jackets and patchwork prairie skirts.
